Deb Tewell

Fiber Artist

Deb loves combining fiber color with texture. She has learned from master felt makers and taught many others her craft. Deb enjoys creating wearable art as well as dimensional sculptures. Her work has won numerous recognitions. Deb was organizer of the annual Felters’ Rendezvous in CO, an event that brought together nationally known instructors and students from across the country for felt making and fiber camaraderie.
 

Her current interests include wet/nuno felting as well as abstract painting on silk, which she incorporates in her felt making.
