We're  the same wonderful gallery at 210 S. Main St. in La Veta, Colorado, that has been  there for over a decade!

A bit of History:  The original gallery at this location was created by Joan Hanley in 2006 as the "Fine Art Gallery".  Initially it was a true co-op gallery with Joan Cantrell, Robin Richards and Jill Schwarz also as original members.

Piñon Hill Art Gallery was formed in 2006 by Nicole Copel and Brad Atchison, mainly featured ceramics, and was located at the north end of town. After seven years at that location, Nicole moved Piñon Hill Art Gallery to the Main Street location. She ran the Piñon Hill Art Gallery at the 210 South Main location during 2013 and 2014. 

Vivian Etmanczyk took over the gallery and ran it as La Veta Gallery on Main for 2015. For 2016 Nicole Copel joined her as a partner.

In 2017 Karen Austin and Mary Scott formed La Veta Gallery on Main LLC and took over as owners of the gallery. 

 

Effective July 2021, Kelly Brokaw Sears took over as the gallery owner, changing the name to Artisans on Main LLC, retaining the work of many of the artists that have been with the gallery for years.
